Kanak Dhara is another name of Goddess Lakshmi and as per the word spell, Kanak refers to “wealth” and Dhara refers to “flow of holy water” thus kanakdhara means the continuous flow of wealth and good luck. This puja is mainly performed to protect the natives from the evil effects of the malefic planet Venus. It resolves all the financial debts and leads to the attainment of sound health and wealth, simultaneously.
